More dog thoughts

I am given to idly wondering if the people next door take the incessant barking of their dog for granted or if, like the rest of the neighbourhood, they can still appreciate their pooch’s ability to explore new, weekend morning peace-shattering, heights of volume and pitch for sustained periods of time.
